Carol Tsiames
Executive Director
Carol Tsiames was born in a small town in upstate New York and later relocated to New York City to complete her education. Subsequently, she settled in Kansas with her husband, where they raised three remarkable children. Her two sons reside nearby, while her daughter lives just outside Dallas, allowing Carol to enjoy the rewarding experience of helping to raise her grandchildren.
Carol began her career in occupational therapy, initially working in a nursing home—a field she was drawn to due to her positive experiences with her own grandparents. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience across various sectors, including rehabilitation, pharmaceutical sales, and hospice care, before returning to her true passion: long-term care. She spent several years as a long-term care administrator before transitioning to her current role as Executive Director in assisted living, where she has served for the past seven years. Her diverse experiences have equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the industry and all facets of assisted living.
In her personal life, Carol and her husband enjoy traveling throughout the United States and Europe, frequently embarking on long road trips with friends. Both are avid food enthusiasts, with Carol having cooked for over 75 residents on several occasions. Together, they own a food truck that is operated by their sons in their spare time.
Carol shares, "I have an open-door policy and encourage families to drop by whenever they like, whether to chat or just say hello. You can also reach me anytime by phone or text—I text a lot! I’m genuinely excited to be a part of this community. My goal is to offer excellent care, engaging activities, delicious food, and a team of caring staff, while creating a warm environment where I can connect with each of our wonderful residents."
